Who We Are
Over 30 years later, Sandy’s nephew Micah leads the firm and our fee-only status remains unchanged. What’s more, because of our fiduciary status, we are legally obligated to act in our clients’ best interest.
Our decades of experience allow us to give informed, practical guidance in the most complicated of situations. We combine this guidance with a holistic approach to planning so that all the aspects of your finances work together.
Mission Statement
Our Advantage
Our Certifications
Our mission at Minerva Planning Group is to help clients keep their finances on track, and the credentials we have earned bolster that mission.
Our designations include the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification—a widely recognized certification in the financial advice industry that includes requirements for continuing education, professional experience, and ethics.
In addition, as Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholders, we must maintain your investments according to the professional and ethical standards set by the CFA Institute.
Holistic Solutions
We offer planning that is personalized to your financial and investment needs because we believe custom-tailored solutions offer the best path for you to achieve your financial goals.
We have long eschewed “one size fits all” approaches to financial planning. So rather than rubber-stamp your plan, we will work with you to create a personalized plan that encompasses all the aspects of your financial life.
Our holistic planning can help you feel confident that nothing has been overlooked and that the various aspects of your financial situation are working in concert to achieve well-defined financial goals.
Your Goals at the Center of Your Portfolio
When it comes to building your portfolio, we start with your financial plan. Your plan outlines your goals in life and informs us in designing a portfolio to help you achieve those goals.
Once we know what your portfolio should look like, we focus on ensuring that it is properly diversified to insulate it against any market volatility. And we emphasize low costs and tax efficiency so that more of your money is directed toward attaining your goals.
